What is data recovery?
Data recovery is the process of retrieving lost, hidden, missing or misplaced files, folders, or records after mishaps, deletions or hardware failure.
Can you recover my data?
If you are attempting to recover data from a hard drive that still spins, and does not make any clicking noises, the chances are, 92% of the time, we can recover your files, documents and precious photos for less than $200. Most of the time for a small drive the cost is well less than that. Of course if you have a 250-500 GB drive than the price could be more. Typically we charge for time and difficulty, but for us these are typically low and the savings are passed on to you the consumer. If you run into problems or concerns, you are contacted immediately, and the details are explained to your satisfaction.
What does data recovery cost?
The typical cost associated with data recovery is based on what other people charge, which has NOTHING to do with time, effort, difficulty or any other factor relative to expense. This industry has gotten carried away with charging a fortune for an automated procedure that is routine and a standard recovery requires a technician with a few months of training. This is a very specialized trade, but is by no means rocket science, yet rocket pricing is the standard. Until we came along.
How much do you charge?
We charge $45/hr., with an average recovery between 3-5 hours. Get this pricing somewhere else? Not likely. The truth is that logical recovery is a fairly automated process that only requires a few minutes per hour attention from a well trained technician. This means that one technician can handle 4-6 recovery machines at a time. The key to a successful business like ours is quality, aggressive service-pricing, and volume. We recover from almost all spinning hard drives, IDE, EIDE, SATA, SCSI, notebook hard drives, internal and external drives, SD and Compact Flash Drive recoveries, and just about any types of media that holds data, for a fraction of the price.
Average cost for hard drive data recovery: For the most common recovery type(92%), logical recovery costs are between $90 and $225, plus return media/shipping.
